Wanted to say hi to my fellow Blade lovers !
I have a modest collection consisting of Benchmades and Spydercos . But just bought my first ZT blade a 0770CFM4 and I must say I'm very impressed it has a great feel in the hand , great finish with the blade pretty much dead center . Lock up feels very strong and no side to side movement what so ever . For a light weight EDC it's very well built . This particular one I have has the M4 blade and the CF has a little different pattern . It's a Knifes ship free exclusive and probably only going to be around 500 made . I didn't realize this shop was only a few miles from my house which could be a good or bad thing lol since I'm knife crazy lol . Anyway great shop with everything you could want and they treated me very nice when I was there .
Ok back to the ZT like I mentioned the Fit & finish very good on this one with great action and a wicked edge out of box . It's early on to give a review but my early observations are very good .
Well thought I'd share a few pictures and my thoughts .
This should make a very nice addition to my EDC .


 
Welcome to BF, living a few miles from KSF can be painful on the pocket book. I've got one myself, carbon fiber, M4 just go together :)

Derrick and his wife are good people and his shop is outstanding. Quite a few guys from the area here on the forums ,welcome and enjoy

Thank you and yes my pocket book was hiding but I found it and to punish it for hiding I also picked up a Edge pro 😳

I didn't meet Derrick or his wife but his two employes I talked with were very knowledgable and down to earth . Really enjoyed the visit and looking forward to a return trip !
 
Welcome! Another local here. Specifically, a Tualatin resident (ZT/Kershaw is based here). Living near KSF is a blessing and a curse, for sure. I try to rationalize my ZTs (Tualatin) and Edge Pro (Hood River) as supporting local business :)
 
You live near KSF, how unfortunate for you.;)

Welcome to the forum. I got my first ZT as a gift last year and it is a sweet knife.

I am waiting to receive my first ZT's in the mail. A 0562 and a 0350.
Your 0770 looks real nice. It is probably a good thing that I don't live close to a knife shop. :p

You made a good choice. I also purchased an 0770 in M4...but I asked them not to ship it until next week; so I get to wait a while longer. In the meantime, I've been playing a bit with the aluminum handled version - I always loved the look, but it was a little small in hand (so it got shelved). Luckily, I've been using some smaller fixed blades, lately; so I'm not as put off by it as I had been. Hopefully I like the carbon fiber on this one.
 
Good choice. I have the regular elmax CF version, and its a great knife.

You guys and gals rock , I love it here already ! So true lol I felt my heart racing when I pulled up in The KSF parking lot wanting my fix :)

Great choices , I was drooling all over ZT knifes when I was checking my 0770 . There all built like tanks !
