New to forum, can you help me identify this knife?

Hello all, I have lurked here off and on but finally decided to join. I have enjoyed knives (especially "traditional" folders) all of my life, I own a couple dozen of them, but hardly think of them as a collection. Each tool has it's own purpose, and each of my knives has a story as to why I have it.

That brings me to this knife. It was the property of my great aunt. I have had it for 20 years, and I remember it in her possession for more than 20 years before that. She was an aircraft cabin mechanic for Northwest Orient Airlines in Minneapolis through the 1950's and 1960's and it may have been something she carried everyday in her tool kit.

This knife is a 3.25" three bladed stockman style. The "bone' side panels are a black applique over stainless steel, which is also textured. I cannot make out what is stamped on the base of the large blade other than "USA"

Thank you,

Looks like a Hammer Brand or Imperial made knife. The time period she carried it makes sense as to when it was manufactured (area of 50's-70's)
They were very inexpensive work knves, usually with plastic/synthetic handle materials like the one in the photo.

Thanks! Hammer might make sense. The trademark stamp resembles half of a "Henkel" mark, like someone holding up a hammer.
funny thing is, this knife is still wicked sharp. Thanks again, -JC

Thank you!
I looked around and I have another Hammer Brand that I will post pics of. What is the most appropriate thread/ Forum to do that in?

If you're looking for info on it then Bernard Levine's Knife Collecting & Identification sub-forum is the best place to get some info.
If you just want to show it to us (we love seeing old knives!), you can post it here.

Welcome aboard!

I will follow up with Mr. Levine's sub-forum, but in the mean time this is it!

It is a Kamp-King, Hammer Brand marks, but only a three blade model. No awl, or anyplace where there used to be one either!
