New to forum/CRK

Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum, new to CRK with a new Small Sebenza 21. Very nice knife... Only think I didn't like was the shoelace lanyard. Took that off and now it is perfect. Regarding the made in Idaho thing... I voted with my money and had knivesshipfree send one without the stamp. This will be an edc knife.

Congrads on your first Sebenza,excellent choice for a edc knife.Im going to warn you though,,,these Sebenzas are really addicting.Im gonna bet that it wont be long before you get a large!

Ressom, congrats and welcome. I started with the very same small Sebenza 21 for Christmas this year. I've already got a second Sebenza, a Large 21 with Diamond Plate graphic.

They are addictive. Hide your wallet.

I really like the pocket wear on the edges of this Sebenza, really adds character. Looks well loved.

He Scotchbrighted the knife to get that finish. Correct me if I am wrong though Derek.

Actually, I used WetOrDry sandpaper (same idea, though). You can get the same look with Scotch-Brite pads, but I talked about my process here:

Very nice job, very credible. Looks like actual pocket wear. I may work up the courage to try that someday, but not yet.

Maybe there should be a 12 step program for the addiction... SA: Sebenzas Anonomus.

Although I probably do have a knife addiction... buying 5 knives since last November (although one was gifted away). There is always an excuse to buy, right... hunting knives, EDC knives, etc.

I really like how the Small just melts into your pocket, like it isn't even there. I think that is an important requirement for an EDC knife.

I don't feel the lanyard that comes with it really exudes quality like the knife deserves. I really like your lanyard... it's a lot more substantial and looks a lot better as well. I was actually looking into getting a 'proper' one like yours, but I am sort if diggin' carrying her naked for now.

I just got my first CRK small 21 from knives ship free and it was born on April 14 also and no Idaho made on it can't get any better!!!

Wow, Twins! They spent 9 months together at KSF in gestation, then they were bought and now will live miles apart.
