Hello everyone, first post here on Blade Forums.

I'd been collecting mainly WWII items and automatic knives.

I've had the pleasure of having a Paul Dinger Damascus dagger, maiden hair pattern. I sold it years ago and I miss having a good Damascus knife in my collection. I'd been looking at the above subject line and can find very little of those who own them let alone opinions of the blade.

The issue with any collectible is, desirability, ownership and the I want it. But with these collectibles comes the other 50% just behind it, selling it when that time comes.

I know it is opinions that I seek, there are no right or wrong opinions but when it comes down to spending the money for something like this I am quite interested in what other collectors thoughts are. The opinions help in the decision making process.

Thank you in advance for helping me understand more about this subject as when the time comes to sell, if the thought is little enthusiasm or high enthusiasm or in between....I am interested to know.

It's a nice looking knife. It's more of a display knife than a knife you would use every day. It is worth the price? It is if you really like it.
