hey guys,to clarify my question,am looking for a good quality bali,ie a custem or a good production model,have a pratice knife(think it's a tayler;bone handle,dagger blade,1983) but would like buy something of better quality ,.as for training I guess I would like to move past the standerd opening and closeings.

Well, the best quality currently readily available is the Benchmade model 42. Any number of places sell them, and you might be able to find one for sale here on the forums for a good price.

You can find other out of production models around, my personal favorite is the Benchmade 45, but they command a higher price and are much more scarce than the 42, as they have been out of production for quite a while.

As for customs, you can either look into the Gemini Project, hunt down a Benchmade or Pacific Cutlery custom, or find any number of makers who are willing to make you a balisong.
