Thanks to everyone that said hello, I have a lot of knives, I like them all, guess I'm partial to the one I made from a thick bastard file, scales are antler from the first elk I killed, it's been on a few survival trips with me and hasn't failed, its at mashed cat for a custom kydex, I would say that with the antler scales its not for heavy use, chopping ect.. But have skinned a lot of deer with it, 4" blade, great little fixed blade.
My SOG pentagon elite is my EDC. I Have a couple TOPS, (the tracker and the c.a.t.), my browning colter bay 682 is never to far.
But I recently discovered ESEE and would like to get the esee 5 with the fire bow drill divot in the handle, I start fires with the bow drill method and had thought about drilling a 1/2 inch hole in handle of my browning for this very reason. the other reason i like the esee for survival is the scales are removable, easier to mount blade to a stick for a weapon, although for all the times Ive been in the woods Ive never done this.
I'll post some pics today some time.
