I'm looking for some good quality knives around the 100 - 200 price range. Any suggestions?

Yup. In my opinion it is the best value out there and is at the lower end of your price range.

Manix 2 or 2XL. Both are also great values. The Gayle Bradley would be another good option, but you may want to wait on the new version that's in the works.

This is why I suggested it. There's a reason for all the hype. He can grab a smaller knife like a DragonFly or Ladybug to go with it, or grab a sharpmaker to keep it hair popping sharp.

I like to carry two knives and a Para2 with a Delica4 is my all time favorite combo and it is well within the $200 dollar limit.

Military-It's large but carries small. with liner lock/g10 or ti/RIL (my personal favorite folding knife)

Manix 2-medium to large with an excellent lock and ergos with a couple choices of handle material and premium blade steel. Also available in XL

Honorable mentions below your price point..

Dragonfly-small FRN handled lock back with several steel choices and handle colors. G10 available as well

Endura/Pacific salt-large FRN lock back with several steel choices and handle colors

Ladybug-keychain sized that cuts like its much bigger. Same options as endura and dragonfly. I carry one daily to backup my larger knife but it ends up doing most of the cutting


I have gone through others and found these to be my personal favorites for work and play
