In response to your question, Omaha is probably pretty much the same as when you went to school here: muggy, with mosquitoes the size of dump trucks and a very low tollerance for people with large, curved knives...

This is like the last bastion of niceness on the web. The vast majority of forums I've seen include a fair amount of backbiting and sniping, but that seems to be absent form here. It's good to be welcome here.

Welcome once again. I have memories of Omaha... I almost got shot by a pimp in a strip joint somewhere downtown back in '89.

Of course this was during an officially sanctioned Gov't training excercise (really). I would *never* frequent one of those establishments on my own

I was originally a native, then left for the Army, came back, left for Phoenix AZ, then came back again... I haven't quite figured out why I keep coming back here

... Currently, I'm gettin me an edumacation at NCB, doing Access database administration and development for UPS (but they don't pay me very well and they micro-manage, so I'm not very keen on them right this moment), and playing and writing heavy, experimental music in a band named "fulcrum"...

ACS: Gotta love those training exercises... Me, I'm bald, crazy looking, and have been known to talk out loud to myself, so pimps don't usually bother me... That, and laying your Khukuri on the bar top doesn't hurt, either...
