Hi,
Received my first Becker knife (BK2) a couple weeks ago and finally got around to stripping it this weekend. All I can say about my BK2 is "man what a knife". Thanks to everyone that contributes on the Becker forum I was able to strip and vinegar patina my knife. Thank you all.
Hopefully this pic. will show up.

If anyone can give me any pointer on posting pics. I'd appreciate it. I searched for a while and gave up.

Looking good man, welcome to the forum. I'll end up stripping my 2 as well, with wood scales, and a leather sheath.

I upload to Photobucket, and copy and paste the IMG code here.

[/IMG]good job ttmctoad and we do see your photo. but The Warrior is right. I couldn't get Flickr to work, but photobucket worked with my tablet. Even shows nice big pictures.

does that leather strap make a huge difference? Is it smleather? because I want one but shorter.

Yes the strap is smleather. I'd say it rides a hair higher, but it's not really much shorter. I think it's an improvement over the nylon. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

I got used to the way i carried my bk7. I boot laced it to high carry almost like a side arm. I could feel the handle against my forearm. Working at a 7-11 while carrying it like that had its advantages also.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your BK2! It's a beast of a knife, it'll see you through.
