  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

New to knives but loving the XMs

You are best to post a WTB (want to buy) in the sales area and see what is offered to you.

Prices generally are not discussed in the forum, I would normally take this to PM but you need to upgrade your account.

I'm still looking for the right combo and deal to present itself, patience is key if you dont want to throw a grand at an XM18.

I feel like I must have one of these.

Thanks!

Then you must get one, You will not be happy until you do get one, It is imperative!!!
Actually, Two would be even better.;)

I agree with Mtn. Wildman- get one! Yes, they do not come cheap but they are incredible knives. Since getting my XM-18, I honestly have not felt as strong of a "need" for new knives. It just gets so many things right: size (3.5" blade for me), ergonomics, strength, looks, awesome customer support, and the fact that you can customize them is awesome (most knives don't even have optional parts). Also, its great to be able to support an awesome group of people- the Hinderer crew is great.

Well said..

Well the plan is to get one soon. I'm planning to be at BladeShow this year to maybe get to handle one before I buy. Then after that, I will have only one goal.

It's a good plan for several reasons.
- Get to attend a great event.
- You'll have the opportunity to meet and get to know a great group of guys ( the Hinderer Herd is as good as it gets)
- Check out the different sizes and versions of Hinderer Xm's
All in all, a no lose proposition and it's less than 2 months away.

Blade 2011 was the first time I handled an XM. It was the custom Rick made for the Knife Rights giveaway. Talk about a grail.
After that I played with several at the Hinderer booth. Can't come up with the proper words to describe how cool it is to be surrounded by so many awesome knives and people.

I will be at Blade 2012. I will show any Hinderer brothern my EDCs so they can form their own thoughts and opinions about their own Hinderer wants and needs. And NO--mine are not for sale.
