Im stuck on two knifes, theyre actually the same knife but one has a bead blasted blade, and one is matte black (teflon??) and the steel is 154cm

Which one would have better rust resistance?
Thanks!

Bead blasted is the least corrosian resistant option for blade finsihes.

All blasted finishes are not equal, the coarser the blasting media the rougher/darker the texture and the easier it rusts.

An aluminum oxide blast will turn pretty much any decent stainless (such as 154CM) into a rust magnet. Glass beads less so. But to be safe always go with the black blade if you are worried about rust.

Thanks both!:)
Im actually choosing between ZT's
I got some advice to go with a spyderco and i almost did, but the ZT just catches my eye.
The blasted one is a light gray, so ill go with the black one right?
*edit* the ZT0200**

I'd agree that the black coated one will be better for rust resistance. Rust resistance should only be a concern if you know that your particular situation may cause issues. Most people don't need to worry about it.

and the steel is 154cm

154CM is stainless steel. From personal experience with this steel, it is very rust resistant.

Choose the one that is more visually appealing to you since it is only a cosmetic treatment.
