new to knives.

Hello...i am kinda new to forums, and knives, and know nothing i just don't know where to start! And this is what i am asking is...I need some stuff to know on knives, I fail so hard. I am just getting into the thing and i really like them. I just need help with info on knives. i am wanting to get into collecting Spyderco ones and more but Spyderco is the company i was really into. So if you could help me out, maybe a book on collecting them or something...

Hang out at the Spydie forum for a bit. Lots of good info on all sizes and types of Spydies.

I don't think a book would help you out much. Learn the way many of us did.....from other members with a lot of knowledge about knives.

some good "beginner" reading here. it certainly doesn't cover everything, but it will get you started. Topics included are blade types, grind types, blade steel materials, lock types, handle materials, etc.

This is a such a great site and community, I just communicate with the other members and read others threads, and post in a bunch of threads, you just start to gain knowledge. Then you do some google searches come back to the forum, learn more, as some already said, just keep reading.
