Hey all,

Recently my grandmother passed away, my parents were cleaning out the house and came across this cool little knife in the basement. I've never actually seen a barlow that said Barlow on it so it's pretty cool to me. The electiricians blade is cool in its own right. It's got a screwdriver tip and what looks to be a dull blade on it, I'm not sure though. It's also got a liner lock that locks it out. The main blade does not lock.

If anyone is familiar with this style please chime in.

Well - I thought you would enjoy the pics - sorry they are so blurry.

I have a Klein electrician's knife and use it like a beater to scrape with. I abuse it some, I pocket it if I have ugly work to do. I enjoy sharpening it after dulling it badly. That one, your barlow, I would not go ugly on!:D Nice one to keep somewhat in good condition. It has a legacy.

You can't really tell by the pics, but it's actually in pretty good shape.

Nice

I'm 'kinda' keen to the TL-29 style, and this is an interesting twist to it.

Nice little advertising Barlow. Unusual to have that electrician blade in it.. I believe I would just keep it put up. Like I stated unusual little Ole Barlow. Congrats on it...

Thanks fellas - I hadn't planned on using it. I think I'm going to put it on display with some of my other favorites

Hi,

Now that's a neat Barlow. Was your Grandfather an electrician? It will be a very nice keepsake for you.

Yup, he was an electirician and a general electronics guru. You should see the house and how everythign is wired up, pretty impressive.
