My BK 10. From #1066vik arrived I love it, he removed the thumb ramp and rounded the top of the clip point (pictures are coming) both very nice improvements . I believe it is one of the 180 Camillus blanks that Kabar finished .
Thank you Erik I will give it a good Home.
I'm going out to mow when I get done there is a cantalope in the fridge slated to be it's first victim in Ohio:D

yes, it was one of the "bells & whistles" bk10's - as soon as I got it, I deramped it, added micarta, and rounded the clip.
I lost the bell, the original box, and kept the micarta. :)
He got the knife, green camillus sheath, and probably kabar grips, because they don't <quite> fit -- but that's less than 5 minutes with a dremel to clean up

I used to have a picture of it, but apparently that went away when the forum software got upgraded.

The BK-10 is my "one knife" Becker.
Plenty more beef than the Tweeners, but not overdone. I too am not in love with the short clip and ramp, but I really trust the overall design.

I think im one of the few that like the way that clip and thumb ramp look. While i dont have a bk10, i have the 9 and i like to rest my thumb on the far side of the ramp for controlled tasks. The clip gives it a mini-bk9 look and together with its height, makes it a very distinctive knife. I like a knife with character, these attributes give the bk10 plenty of it. These are pretty much the only reasons i want one. I have plenty of knives of a similar size otherwise.

Knice Knife Mods. Getting rid of that thumb ramp improves it IMHO. Sharpened swedge looks nice to. I couldn't have a sharpened swedge because I live in "EVIL DAGGER!" land. The BK2 with no thumb ramp proves its not needed on the 10.
