Have a new to me 51BK on the way, I couldnt pass up the chance to get one. Only problem is there's some marking on the blade. Is it repairable? And I know Benchmade has a good program but I'm not sure what all would be good for my knife considering I bought it second hand. New coating potentially? And what is the coating on these?

any blade coating will develop scratches as you use the knife.
Unless you are trying for a museum specimen, I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah I won't be using this one. Just want to restore it to its prime if even possible. Been trying to get my hands on one of these since I was a kid.

They do not refinish the coating. You can ask about a blade swap, which will cost 1/3 the MSRP if they have any left. Generally, if you want a pristine unmarked specimen to be a safe queen, you should buy one in that condition. A used knife is just that: used.

Yeah, that's a tough ask with any of the original morphos. Thanks anyways!!
