This slightly used Case 6347HP Stockman arrived yesterday. The knife is 3 7/8" long with the clip blade being 2 7/8" long, the Sheepfoot blade being 2 1/8" long, and the Spey blade being 1 7/8" long. All blades are CV steel. The bolsters and liners are nickle/silver and the shield is pinned. The dealer I bought it from rated it as excellent; however, I'd rate it as very good. The knife is from the 1940 through 1964 era (CASE XX).

This Case 5-dot (1985 manufacture) 6347HP Stockman has come in since the above knife arrived. It has all the same specs as the above knife but as you can see, the covers have a different jigging pattern and the color of them is different. Note the different color covers on the mark side and pile side on this knife.

Hi Ed!

That´s a cool Case. It seems be nearly unused, for a knife from the 1940s. Congrats to this one. BTW: Stockmen (or is it called Stockmans in plural form?) is my favorite pattern.

Kind regards
Andi

Its a beauty ED. I have a Case Pen that has very similar scales. I am really enjoying it. Enjoy

Congrats on that one, Ed. She's a beaut!

Thats a nice one Ed... The 47 is a great patern IMHO. I never cared for the 18 series, just didn't feel right to me. The 47 fits the hand nicely, and still carries comfortably too.

Thanks guys. It does carry nicely. One of the things I like about the 47 pattern is that the tip of the spey blade is wider proportionally than most other Case medium stockman knives. You can un-zip a rabbit or squirrel in just a few seconds with it.

Its very nice! You would know better then I, but that looks great for such an old knife :)
