Well just arrived today via USPS, thanks Rene. First one I have owned but have another comming also from NCBlades that was "pimped" at the factory with finger grooves and shell inlay. But as stated the one I rec. today in very excellant cond. from Rene(DeathDancer) is pretty nice as well. This one is in 440v. Ya know it is interesting in that I also have a Boa with the same steel, but this Mili just blows it away for ease of sharpening and just plain damn scary sharpness. I mean this knife will now cut free standing hair in half! Just like my Buck/Mayo TNT 174. The knife is extremely lite wt. it is very big and very ergonomic. Lock up is dead nuts solid perfect. No matter how hard I snap it open. Kudo's to the design team.

I had a Starmate at one time that I thought was a great knife but the Mili is just a tad bit better in my estimation. I even like it better than the Police model and I like that alot. I don't know if I like it better than the Mannix though. That knife just fits my hand to a tee. Wish it had kind of longer blade but that is the only want for me I see with that knife. Anyways I like the Mili and shall carry it for awhile. Don't know if I'll go back to edc'ing my CQC7 of one variant or another but ya never know. keepem sharp

Nice grab longbow.

When I first saw the Military and the Para for that matter they just did not do it for me - so I went after other Spydies. Then I fell into one on a deal and got it into my hands. Wow. Nice package. It (they  ) are now my favs - it just is such a great combination of blade shape and G10 style. Got a PE, a SE and now a black CE as well as a black PE Para. :D

I really like my Mili. Every time I open it up I remind myself to be careful. That knife just looks like it wants to bite something. Congrats on those fine Milis you landed.

I have to tell you guys. I have had and still own many dozens of knives, fixed and folders. I enjoy putting a sharp edge on them and well having my tools as sharp as I can get them. But this 440V in this Military is something I just haven't experience before. Very similar to my Mannix and a CQC7B I have for sharpness but just a bit more aggressive edge. Toothy like a good 01 blade. I accidentally bumped the edge this a.m. with my left middle finger opening a box. Not dragged the blade across my finger mind you but just bumped it. The blade penetrated almost to the bone. I ain't kiddin when I say that either. I am looking at my finger and felt a decent burn but no blood for a good couple of seconds. Super glue and a band aid and fixed it right up. Never experienced something quite that sharp as it refers to one of my knife edges. I mean I only pressed against the edge for a micro second.

So I says to myself with nothing else to do today why not hang my old Carhart up in the garage and see what kind of martial performance I can get out of this blade. I haven't done this type of thing in quite some time and admittedly I am not into martial blade craft but on ocassion I will try a few different basic techniques. In a nutshell and to stop my rambling this Military has to be the most devastating cutter I have ever held in my hand. It has enough belly with is continuous to the tip so it wants to deepen the slash as you pull towards you. It has a decently strong narrow point to aid in excellant penetration. The handle is slim and feather lite but it does not seem to give in compression as you grip the knife hard for the slash. Also it is pretty big for decent reach. It just may be a bit to big for an edc type of knife but in the cold winter months here it is just the ticket as it is easily concealed. I am sold on it that is for sure. Can't wait to the para. Have a request out now.

I have also taken the knife apart to clean lube it. No big deal to do that and now the liner on it engages even better. Butter smooth through the open cycle and a nice solid click when it is engaged. Keepem sharp and Merry Xmas to all. :p
