Well, this is a first for me. I finally got an ESEE knife! It's been loved (used), but it was a good price and has plenty of life left in it. The previous owner sharpened it, but I think I'll re-sharpen it. Hopefully I'll get out next week and use it a bit! Oh, the other "toy" in the picture is my XD9.

Yep, that is an older model. Old name and Eagle style sheath. Nice.

I really like this knife and sheath. Even if I paid full price for a new knife, I think this would still be a great deal! I've wanted an ESEE knife for a while, and now this knife has definitely increased my interest in your knives!

Heck that thing isn't even broken in yet. :D

That's like taking the plastic off the seats of a car and calling it used! Welcome to the ESEE crew!

With the ESEE warranty, it has forever life in it!;)

I need to pick me up one of these. Along with an Izula and and Izula II (one for me and one for my wife).

Enjoy!

I have the older style with the Eagle sheath as well, and like that sheath better than the Kydex. Congrats man!

I'd like to get outside and try the handle with a bow drill. I guess if I do that, I should wear shoes instead of my typical sandals, or maybe the knife can be left in the sheath for that. I have a bow drill that I got from my sister and her husband a while back, and I'd like to try making a set myself. Hopefully I'll have some time soon to make a set and take some pics!

I have the ESEE 5 and just love it. It is one hardcore tool that can do it all as far as I am concerned. Congrats, that has a ton of life left in it.Your grandkids will still be using it.
