New (to me) RMJ Loggerhead

Just picked this up off that auction site. Came with a poor brown camo rattlecan paint job. After much acetone and elbow grease... It's still ugly but it has that been there done that look.

It's missing the end cap and didn't come with a factory sheath but the price was right and the hawk is 100% function. Don't have to worry about scratching this one.

There is no production date, is that normal or is this an early run or maybe a mil spec overrun.

Congrats, that's a great piece. I have a Shrike and a Jenny Wren and couldn't be any happier with either of them, they're just great tools.
Mine will take a while to get as handsome as your loggerhead. I haven't had much time in the woods to use them lately but I'm looking forward to going camping soon and will use that as an excuse.
I thought long and hard about the loggerhead but went with the shrike because I like the look of the spike and figured that I could use it to help pick up firewood and dig holes around camp, plus it just looks sweet.

I have one in bound. Ordered 6 weeks ago. Told the military put in a big order for them now it's going to be another 4-6 months to get one. Nice score
