Just picked this up on off the exchange NIB for a STEAL! I've been wanting a 560 for a while now and couldn't pass up the deal. Loving the knife so far but I've noticed that it takes a good ammount of pressure to flip the knife. Is this normal? I've heard they need a breaking in. Not a big deal as I figure it will break in the more I play with it(that's what she said).

My 561 has a pretty strong detent and is not a super fast flipper yet either. I think it is just a matter of breaking in.
 
I just picked one up last weekend that has a 2400 range serial, its smooth as glass. But its a big beast.
 
I just got one myself and at first i thought the same thing, then i played with it for a couple days and it is silky smooth now by the way mine is in the 2700 range!!!
 
Mine's starting to work in but it's still pretty stiff. Just gives me an excuse to play with it more.
