Having always looked for older knives, 40 to 100+ years old, I've been infected with some strange disease, I think from hanging out at this forum!!
Suddenly the more recent era knives look good to me, and of course, are definitely more affordable. Here's one I picked up today, along with a deck of cards, at a local little militaria show. I quite like the fit and finish, the sterling shield, and the deep blade etch! However I know little else about these. If anyone cares to expound a little, I'd be ever grateful
Also, the cards are still sealed. Do they have interesting pictures or are they all the same? Will I devalue them greatly if I open them? They cost little, but if someone needs an unopend box to fill out a collection, I'd hate to spoil them for little reason!
