I always try to learn from my mistakes and don't know if I made one last night. Was cruising the bay and saw a large classic with lignum vitae inlays and with starting price of $350.00. Seller indicated it was about 6 mos. old, and only blemish was a small scuff on the clip. Pictures appeared to agree. So, I put a bid in of $351.00. The auction ended past my bedtime, so got up this morning to see I was the only bidder, and had bought the knife!!

I'm sure some of you sebeholics saw this auction, so did I miss something about the knife, or did I just get lucky?

Thanks

So you basically saved at least $100 off the price of a new one and got one that is like new-I would say you did very well.

If this is your first Sebenza you will be very pleased-the wood inlay classics are very nice. More that likely your other folders will now gather dust!!!!!!!!!

Good price, but i managed to pick one brand new for the same price :D

You got a great deal. I would have outbid you except for my buying a Small Classic Sebenza with Snakewood Inlays the day before on eBay. :p

If you bought it to use, you saved $100. I am sure you can get a new clip from CRK for about $25, so if you bought it for the collection and to take out and admire from time to time, you still have saved $75.

I've seen some NIB wood inlay Sebenzas for sale about $400 so you still did good. Enjoy your new knife!

Excellent score on a beautiful knife that will wear better than any other wood inlay out there. Congratulations, and welcome to the club!

superfine sand paper will fix up that scratch 1,2,3!

congrats Ron!
