Hi all, I'm new to your forum and just want to introduce myself.
I've been around the block and have had my share of good and bad blades over time. What brought me here was my research into finding a new "service" knife. I have been struggling to find a replacement blade to take over for my father's WWII Cattaraugus which is beautiful, but I am too sentimental about losing it in the field.
I have been scouring the web for my own heirloom blade to pass down to my son,(he'll get Gramp's too) and I keep coming back to ESEE's RC-5. To me a great all-around knife.
Of course now that I found it, have to take the time to save up for it due to the fact I have returned to school to start a medical career.
Look forward to reading the post and adding what I can.
Thanks for having me,
Mike
