Well, I'm finally in the club. I just sold a few knives and bought a Delica 4 FFG Green, a Manix 2 Trans Blue Lightweight and the FRN Native. I have to say, I love them. The steel, the lockup, the look, everything. I had owned some higher end Cold Steel knives before, but although they were tough and all, they were just too bulky and heavy for me in an EDC function. I feel like Cold Steel makes very tough knives with strong tips and strong locks, but that doesn't always translate to a good cutting tool, which is what a knife is for. These cut way better than those by far because of the blade grinds and the better steel. These three are perfect for me and I'm glad I bought these.

Welcome to the club. I love Spyderco, but I also share my love with many knives and knife companies. My Endura and Delica are great knives and make great EDCs. I have many Spydercos still on my list to get and always will if they keep introducing new models every year.

how do you like the feel of the Manix in your hand? How is the lock? Only 2 things semi holding me back from pulling the trigger!

Welcome to the Spyderco community! Glad to hear you like the knives, just make sure you watch your wallet :p If you like them this much, there is a good chance your wallet will be perpetually empty :D

I've got to tell you, the Manix feels amazing. The bi-directional texturing and jimping are great. I always hold in the choked up position, it just feels perfect in the hand. I got an FRN Native too, same story there, the finger choil feels perfect! A side note, my dad just broke the tip off of his trusty old Buck, so I picked up the Manix 2 G10 for him. Same story there, it feels amazing in the hand. It's of course a heavier knife, but feels very solid. The ball bearing lock is tight with no blade play at all on either knife. I know that there is a video on Youtube that has been giving it a bad wrap, but I have no doubt, now that I have one in may hand, that it's a very strong lock.

enjoy the ride.

check out the sage 1 and caly 3.5.

amazing knives.

Yeah, I'm seriously considering about 10 of their models now, lol! The PM2 looks amazing and the Yojimbo looks wicked. I also want a Stretch ZDP, the steel handled version of the Dragonfly, A Caly, a Manix XL, a Rescue for my wife's mini van.............. Awe heck, I want them all! I really am happy with the three I have though. If I went back and did it over again I would still get these three. The Delica FFG is the perfect light EDC, the Native fills my hand more and has a great tip for detail work and I love the look of the swedge blade, and the Blue Manix is just awesome. The BD1 is great when sharpened at the correct angle. Shaves as well as anything and keeps the edge. I never go by reviews, I buy what I like and decide for myself.

I know its been said many times but I have found the Delica 4 FFG to be one of the best EDCs out there for my use, can't stop carrying that knife :)

Congrats and welcome to the Spyderco addiction. Venom has been in my veins since I was first bitten.

Spyderco is great bang for the buck!
My PM2 is definitely one of my favorites in my new collection. I need a at least a few more models.

Don't forget about the Military. IMO one of their best, at least in the top 3.

Right now would be a very good time find and buy a Sprint Run Cruwear Military before they are all gone and the secondary market will be the only place to get one. The prices go up on the secondary markets.
