Hey, yesterday I purchased my first Spyderco. it's a Native 1 S30V. love it, razor sharp blade, it's a cutting machine!

But... how can I remove the clip?? that's really making me angry. Thanks in advance for the help!

It's mounted on a screw stud, so use two coins and turn them in opposite directions. Should come off with a bit of twisting. Make sure to use the right size of "screwdriver" when you do, or you can chew up the edges.

I've tried that! with max force, but nothing. it just seems a single stud twisting in one direction only... my fingers hurt

Well,

I've used a soldering iron to heat up screws and melt any Loc-Tite that may have been applied.

I don't know if your knife has any Loc-Tite on the threads. You don't have to use much heat. And I'm also not sure how heat resistant those scales are. I've only tried this with G10.

Great choice for your first Spyderco, the soldering iron tip that aquaman67 mentioned, is the only way to heat up the lock-tite if this happens to be the case.
Let us all know how this pans out for you and enjoy that new spydie. It won't be your last I'm sure.
