New to the forum and have a question?

I am new to blade forum and new to the infi addiction that I have no contrrol over. I would like to share some pics of my new busses and do not know how to post pictures. Could some one help I feel very stupid. I also need to learn how so I can sell some other knives so I can feed my habit.

Welcome to the trough. What you need to do is go sign up at "photobucket" or "image shacl". It's free. Just google them. You upload your images there and they will provide you with a link to cut and paste here.

Register for free. upload pictures, they resize automatically. Right click on the IMG code version of the picture, then paste in your post here. Try it. it's easy, must be, I can do it.

Gold or better you can upload them to BF using the Manage Attachments button at the bottom below the text box.
You can browse to find the picture, click on upload, after you upload the pic, open the thumbnail, copy the link in the address bar at the top of the window with the pic at full size, close window of just the full size pic (or... go back to previous page if no new page opened) Paste the address line in the text box with THIS around it...

I believe the max size is 100k.

My wife registered recently and gave her cell phone number as part of registering. The damned site started sending her text messages every few hours until she finally texted "stop" (or something like that) back to them. Just a warning.

I didn't have this problem, and she's had no problem since.

pretty simple, really.

jerry (or skunk) announces there will be an upcoming ganza. he usually gives an approximate date.

a couple days later, jerry posts pics of all the knives that will be available.

a couple more days pass, jerry posts all the prices and the date and start time. eg: Saturday, october 27, between 7pm and 9pm central.

jerry posts the "go button", which is a sticky thread at the top of the busse forum and on the busse combat home page forum.

you have to send two emails usually, to jerry and garth, when the sticky is posted.

you include your first, second, third, etc, choices and the number of each you want.

then you wait for amy to contact you and tell you what you scored.



its kinda crazy, the forums usually shut down due to heavy traffic. there's all kinds of threads going on, but you have to pay attention and get those emails out qucik.

ive scored in every ganza ive participated in. starting with last years knob creek ganza. ive gotten my first choice twice, and no worse than my third choice in any other.

Of course you can ask for just one blade. In fact, Jerry put up a notice to discourage people from asking for lots of knives, and then backing out if they are actually lucky enough to score most of them.
