I’ve been carrying around a Kershaw Cryo that was given to me by my father for the past couple of years, and gotten a lot of great use and enjoyment out of it.

I recently started becoming more interested in knives and the different types of steel and methods for sharpening blades (have been watching Joe Carlton videos).

I just received a Zero Tolerance 0770CF with S35VN steel and carbon fiber handle in the mail today, and I’m infatuated with it. The top of my left hand is shaved clean right now LOL.

I have a watch problem, and can tell that this could potentially turn into a knife problem very rapidly. Looking forward to learning a lot from the more experienced members and hopefully contributing in the future.

That's a ZT I've never owned, but by all accounts a fantastic first one! Welcome to the rabbit hole, and to BF. :D

I have an 0770cf (m4) sitting in the box that I keep meaning to de-assist. I did like my original 0770; so it would be nice to convince myself that I'd use/carry it...but I'm pretty well locked in to getting the same knives all the time. I do make a point of switching them out periodically; but, even then, I tend to grab the same alternates unless I make a conscious decision to the contrary. I should probably sell all but 5 <okay,10> off my modern folders.

Anyway, sorry about the tangent. The 0770 is a nice little knife, and a considerable step up from the Cryo. It will serve you well - enjoy!!
