Just saying hello. I'm new to the forum, but have constantly had a knife of some sort with me since I was a youngster many many moons ago. I was researching an upcoming blade purchase and stumbled across this great forum. I wish I had known about it along time ago.

You could save yourself some time and just go and get them all. For me it was inevitable. It was destiny!!
 
Great, this is all I need, another gear addiction. Rifles, pistols, holsters, kayaks, canoes, fishing gear, bowhunting gear, etc. Now you tell me I'll end up with the whole ESEE line. Thanks alot.
 
It just happens man. If you order them all at once, you'll wind up with less firekits and izulas.... cuz every time you order one...those two just seem to jump into the cart...
 
Welcome. Stick around, we talk about all kinds of stuff. Survival skills, shelter building, firemaking and even some ESEE knife talk every once in a while. :D

If you don't have one, you need to try an ESEE knife.

This all sounds like it will be a perfect fit for me. I was an Air Borne Ranger many years ago and have always been an avid outdoorsman, so all of these topics are near and dear to me. Thanks for the welcoming words everyone.

Yeh, that's the story of my life. I needed a new EDC so I got the Izula. Excellent little blade! Now I'm already looking at others including the RC6 and the HEST. I've got GAS(gear acquisition syndrome) with too many things the way it is. My wife is gonna kill me! ;)
 
Welcome! As you've already been warned though this place will feed your obsession with knives. But then one can have much worse habits and passions.
 
Welcome! They should rename this forum the "my wife is gonna kill me for buying another ESEE knife" forum. Many of us are paddling that boat...and yet it's nothing but grins from ear to ear around here.
