I have a couple items I would like to know the names of so I can find them and buy them. SO I figured where better to ask than a bunch of experts.

Thanks for any help.

Welcome! Your pics are kind of blurry but the top one is a bayonet of some kind. I'd say it's for an American rifle. I can't really tell what the bottom one is.

Welcome! I think some pics of the blades unsheathed would be helpful. I agree with Will- the top appears to be a bayonet. The bottom looks like a European style Dagger. Maybe German but I can't tell. If either have any blade markings, those would be very helpful in identifying them.

Second one looks like a Plug Bayonet, similar to this:

Plug bayonets were a 17th and 18th century bayonet style, and if you look for American Civil War or Revolutionary War sites, you should have a place to start.

Some costume sights may have wallhanger versions, if all you're interested in is "shiny". There will be a vast difference in cost, and quality, though!

Welcome to BFC!

The top one is an M4 bayonet for an M1 Carbine, most likely a CASE repro, in a repro M3 sheath.

The bottom one?, haven't got a clue, can't see enough.... but it could be a plug bayonet, as mentioned.

I'd suggest posting the pics over in Bernie's forum, but I'm not sure the lambasting would be worth it.... :D

Thanks for everything guys sorry for the quality of the pics but I am building a weapons cache based off of a show and I only have screen shots of theirs so I'm limited. To purchase these somewhere what would be the best place that may carry them? eBay for the bayonet is a miss I have been through a lot but I was searching WWII bayonet and not m4 or m1 I didn't know hat to use to narrow it down, the plug bayonet I was searching eBay for daggers an having no luck finding the one I need. Thanks again
