New to the site. Wanted to say hello, and I've been reading around and finding some info.

I've collected knives since I was about 7. I own several bucks, case, Swiss Army, and Kershaw knives. Many other randoms in this collection too.

I've carried a Kershaw everyday for about the last 8yrs. I'm a mechanic by trade and it fits that bill excellent. Their assisted opening is best suited for my needs.

That said, I'm looking to buy snap on/Kershaw leeks or chives with serrated blades. Also would like to buy some snap on branded front plates, and the wrench pocket clips.

It seems impossible to find a branded snap on Kershaw with a serrated blade. So I'm going to try and buy up some parts or well worn knives and build my own they way I want it.

Welcome to the forums ! You'll find lots of information and helpful people here .

Howdy! I've seen a few of the snap on kershaws on the bay. Give it a look. Enjoy the forum!

Hello.

There are few here that prefer partially serrated blades. Don't let it turn you off. (I like them)

The Kershaw 3/4 Ton has a wrench clip.

Thanks guys. I've noticed that most prefer straight blade.

For what I use mine for the serrated is a must. I cut wire, hoses, plastic, everyday with mine. Having the serration keeps me from completely killing straight blade sharpness.

I've been watching the bay, trying to find older kershaws, so I can pick and choose parts from each to make it how I want it.

The last one I bought that, was a factory snap-on and serrated, I decided was still to nice to use and it ended up in the collection. :D

Welcome to the forum.

It really is not too hard to make your own serrated blade with a rotary tool and some proper bits.
Check out the exchange and you can find some very good deals on older Kershaws.
