I have been reading the forums for a while now, and decided to make an intro post with my two newest knives and a few others.

Just received the RAT-3 and RAT-5 in the mail today. Both are in D2 steel, which is my perfered from experience, as I use my knives for things they are not always intended for, but want to keep a good edge.

Pictured left to right:

Benchmade 672 'apparition'. Has been my EDC for a few years now
Spyderco. Mainly use this as a utility knife
RAT-3 -My new EDC alternative to the 672
Rigid knife, unknown model. Probably my only 'display' knife
KA-BAR. Received as a gift many years back
Uncle Henry 171. Was given to me by my grandfather
Rat-5 New camping and field knife.

So far I am happy with the new RATs. Will put them to use this weekend for sure.

Yup, welcome. Regarding your RAT-3, more and more peolple seem to be carrying fixed blades (even in urban areas) for their edc's lately, including me. Whether that be alone or in addition to a folder. Glad to see it.

Its a nice clip I use for hooking to a belt loop or strap on my hiking pack. There was a version shortly after that placed it at the base that didn't get in the way when cutting like mine. I will get a shot later tonight if you would like to see.
 
Nice group of knives that you have there. Thanks for sharing and welcome to the forums.
 
I think you'll really like the RC4. I love mine. Even if you dont think the knife is fantastic (which I doubt), you cant say the people, warranty, and customer service arent.
