Have been a silent reader of this forum for some time. I have really learnt a lot about different aspects of knifes.I have recently bought some USA-made knives that has been discussed here and I really like the feel of some of them. Maybe some future favorites, time will tell.
Hope to contribute with some thoughts from now on. I am a keen on hunting and fishing and have handled quite som knives in these fields and hope to be of some help there.
What I don´t have a clue about is tactical knives and collecting knives. Guess i´m more of a user.
Some of my favorite knives in my stock:
Everyday user: Puma 667 prospector (15 years)
Hunting: Schrade PH1, Puma 705 Fourstar
Fishing: My everyday user + Martinii filet
Camping: Puma White Hunter

I end this with my favorite swedish saying:
"Smärta är bara vekhetens sätt att lämna kroppen."

Mex,
Welcome. I too have learned a great deal of information just by reading through the posts on this site. It's still amazing to me that we have the ability to communicate and share our experiences with people from around the globe without ever leaving our homes.

You stated that you are interested in Tactical Knives, there are plenty of good folks that are Members here that you will be able to learn from. Also, please remember you can always take advantage of the archived information here by using the "Search" feature for anything that you're interested in.

By the way, what is the English translation of the favorite saying that you posted?

We hope to hear from you often.

Welcome to the Forums.

This is truly a great place to learn and or meet some really interesting people. Have made some good friends and some pretty good trades and purchases.

Welcome to the forums 15 years as a nice long time for an every day user. I'd be interesting in seeing the condition of it. Can you put in on the scanner?

Welcome to the Forums. I know what you mean by learning about knives from this site. There is a wealth of knowledge here to tap into. Isn't the internet great.

Thank You all for your nice welcome.
Tom W, I don´t have a scanner but i´ll will try and fix it at a friends place.
I can tell You that the blade is of course rather scratchy and rugged but there is no blade play at all. The prospector is no eyecatcher the scales are of jacarnada and the blade is a 71mm clippoint. The steel is DIN 14110. The knife is very well designed and crafted and the nice thing is that it just looks nicer and nicer at least to me.

Hi!
