just wanted to say hi to everyone.

i'm new to the forum and i'll probably only be in the kershaw section.

i just picked up the mini cyclone and i'm in love with it. it's gonna be my current EDC since my Scallion got stolen from me. now that i have it tho i wish i picked up the mini ti. altho this knife is really just so i can have something until that damn NRG finnally comes out.
 
thanks! you guys definetly have the best knives, i forgot to mention that i keep a chive in both my cars as well
 
Welcome to the forums. Lots of good stuff here to check out beyond the Kershaw section too. I join you in waiting for the NRG, really looking forward to that one.

A good place to start is the group of sticky threads at the top of this forum. Make sure you look at all the great knives that Thomas and Kershaw offer! Only then will the knifeknut seed be planted! :)

The Kershaw forum will always be home to me here (actually Jeremy's Kershaw News Thread is what brought me to Bladeforums in the first place, so its all his fault ;)) but i agree with jujigatame, there's a lot of great info in the other areas too. So don't be afraid to venture out.

You can add me to the list of those eagerly awaiting the NRG (and NRG II) too! I keep hoping Thomas or Tif will post some other views of it soon.
 
thanks all, i'm trying to avoid looking at any other kershaw knives cause i dont want to be tempted to blow my pay check on the entire line. i must say tho i'm glad i joined this forum as i've seen a few kershaws that i havent before, i'm glad i wont be missing out on some really nice knives
 
hey thanks, i did look at that thread, but i muyst have skipped over that part.

sounbds like its gonna be to big for me tho as i have a really small hand. that sucks

The Taboo is a Ken Onion Custom, but Kershaw is adapting the design for a production knife. Who knows, maybe they will have two sizes like the JYD?

The Taboo's blade is about 3.5 inches. About the size of the JYD2 and Large Cyclone, but I bet it feels smaller because of the great ergonomics.

gotta love the designs Ken comes up with. Im sure the blade would be as comfortable as the handle, previded it wasnt sharp LOL!
