New to the forum

I have just signed up to the forum, however am not entirely new here. My father and Coop have posted other pieces that I have completed. I am quite excited to have the opportunity to join the forum myself and do some of my own searching.

I have the pleasure of attending the show coming up quickly in Chicago. Attached is a photo of the folder I recently completed for this show.

I've always been awestruck by your father's work. It was a pleasure to meet both of you at Solvang. It would be an understatement to say I'm looking forward to seeing more of your great works.

By all I've seen so far, it certainly appears you are on the right track. Loerchners are special creations and I, for one, am happy that there is another generation that follows!

I'm totally amazed by this folder as I have been with every piece of your work I've seen.
You are a VERY talented young lady and obviously a great student and daughter.
 
Thanks to all for the warm welcome and encouraging words.
I am extremely grateful to my father for taking the time to teach me and could not have done it without him. However, it is not just my father I have to thank. It is the entire knife world, as from a very young age I have been going to shows and meeting makers and collectors. For this, I must also give recognition and thanks for my passion of making knives.

Brewcity59 - your thread on lady makers is great. I'm sure it will grow and grow...watch out;)

WELCOME Elizabeth! As others have said, your fathers work is legendary, and I too have seen some of your work that he posted.

Seeing your fathers work has ALWAYS been a pleasure and it will also be a pleasure to see more of yours.
