New to the knife world.

Hi, I'm not a lefty but really appreciate the Axis/Able, etc. locks that are workable with either hand. Benchmade and Houge (among others) make a bunch.

Welcome. Being a lefty is fine, but it might not matter as much after a while here. Some members carry two (or more) knives, one accessible to each hand. Others find that ambidextrous cutting of many materials is not too tough. Sometimes it just comes down to “which hand are you holding the material with? Take up the knife in your other.”

YMMV, but both of those are habits with me now.

Also, you don’t need to break the bank buying knives. You don’t need them all, just the ones you like.

The problem is, I like them all lol

Run away while you still can. These guys will make you spend huge amounts of $$$ in the quest for the perfect blade length, geometry, grind, steel, handle material.....I know from experience.
