I ordered this Camo satin PM2 for myself at Christmas, and just got it today. I'm glad that some of these knives are coming into the pipeline. I have no knife shop in my area, so I had never handled one before ordering. I was initially surprised at how light the PM2 feels.
Up to this time I felt like the wire clip was my favorite. But the clip on the PM@ might change my opinion. It slids onto my blue jeans easily, yet still seems to hold firmly. Plus it is just plain good looking.
After loosening up the pivot screw the knife was slightly easier to flip open with the thumb. But it still requires some wrist action. For me the knife flips open better with the middle finger. Maybe I'm just not holding it right to use the thumb.
Also, the compression lock moves all the way over to the center of the knife when it is opened. I can see by the angle of the locking surface on the blade that this is no big deal. It would have to wear an awful lot to move over much further. But I was wondering, is that normal?
Overall, I am pretty happy with the PM2 so far. I am currently EDCing a ZT 550. The ZT opens with authority and I really don't notice the weight of the ZT 550 in my line of work. I'm always wearing jeans. But, I think the PM2 has a good shot at earning some quality pocket time. It's a nice knife and I can see why they are popular.
