Hey all, just saying hello to every one here in this part of the forum. I ussaully hang out in the wilderness survival part. Soon I am going to order a pink Izula for the wife and a black one for me. Maybe even a RC-4 soon too.
I'm not new to the the RAT knife scene only because I do have the old RAT 7 in 1095 and in the process of getting a RAT 3 in D2 from a friend. I know you guys hate that I mentioned that, but I love the old stuff too. Sorry if I offended anybody. :) (I read about the battle between the companies which really sucks.) Hopefully you guys win the battle and the war.
Now I just need to add the new stuff to the collection. I just have to start out small and work my way up.:D Hopefully I didn't mess up my welcome by mentioning the other knife line from the other company.

I happen to love RAT Knives and the other gear they are manufacturing. I don't think anyone takes offense at the comments about the older Ontario Knives. They are solid tools and it is unfortunate that there have been problems. I have two Ontario knives myself, a RAT-3 and a RAT-7. I also have RAT Cutlery knives as well and will eventually replace the RAT-7 with an RC-6.

The Rat-7 is a solid user indeed! On my last camping trip I put it through some serious abuse.

I cut, stripped, skived and whittled with that RAT-3 last October on a camping trip and I was amazed, holds an edge well, easy to sharpen and no hot spots on the hand after a lot of cutting, etc. Then I got my hands on a RC-3. I have to spend some quality time with it, hopefully in about a month along with the RAT Izula.

Welcome. I spend a lot of time on W&SS forum as well. I never purchased any of the ontario stuff, but from what I've seen on here it is good gear.

The stuff from RAT cutlery is even better.

My frist RC was the RC6 followed quickly by the RC4. The RC4 has become my EDC blade. A very well designed piece that functions better than expected.

Thanks every one for the warm welcome. Hopefully when I get the group of Rats together I get pic for you guys.
