Hey everybody, I think I've been bitten by the Swamp Rat bug BAD!

I placed an order for my first Swamp Rat, an RMD on Monday. It should be here today. Yesterday, I put in an pre-order for the Rodent Solution. And just today, I placed an order for a Ratmandeux LE! I'll probably get a Warden next. Not to mention Kydex sheaths for every one of them...

Does it get any better? Is it bad that I am scouring the Busse/Swamprat/Scrapyard exchange forums constantly in my spare time? I think the Rodent Waki is calling my name...

Welcome bro! I love my Rats more than any other knives in my humble collection. Best bang for your buck without a doubt. Say goodbye to your wallet while you still can :p

Welcome to the Swamp:thumbup: You will need a Waki:cool::thumbup:

Welcome, it is a great time to be new to Swamp Rat knives. More stock available now(and the last 6 months) than we've had in years.
I hope you stick around and join in our discussions. Be sure to let us know what you think when your RMD arrives.

Welcome to the Swamp:thumbup: You will need a Waki:cool::thumbup:

I get several emails a week asking about getting a Waki, wish I had more. I tried to warn people that they'd soon be gone and everyone would want one. Maybe next time they will listen ;)

Welcome to the Swamp, Kindred!

Seems like you do have a case of Swamp Fever. The RMD is an excellent piece of steel. It really is a joy to use, I go out of my way to find tasks for mine. I haven't had the chance to fondle a RMDLE yet, so I can't offer any firsthand advice. As for the Rodent Solution I couldn't be any happier with my fixed EDC, definitely a great smaller fixed blade. And last but certainly not least, the Rodent Waki was my first piece of cheese, and I was hooked. If you keep a watchful eye on the exchange you should be able to acquire one.
As far as sheaths, there are plenty of reputable sheathmakers(leather and kydex) here in the swamp and on BF.
Speaking of the swamp you might want to head on over to the Swamp Rat website and check out Rat Chat. Its a great place to discuss Rats over a plate of cheese!
