Hi there. I'm new to this forum so I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Red and I'm fairly new to knife collecting. I've been collecting and fixing old watches for a few years and just recently became interested in knives. I wasn't interested in slipjoints until I came across a Case/Bose Tribal Spear and I just had to have it. I've since acquired one more Case, a classic Gunboat.

Welcome Red, you will find the help, advice in this forum just tremendous, and the people here in Traditionals here are even better.
Two very nice knives there by the way :thumbup:
I recently purchased a Case/Bose knife...its a beaut...thank you for showing us your knives (so far )....you may have to repair a few more watches now to up-keep your new and very adictive "habit" :D

Those are a couple of very nice slippies you got there.

I have been seeing that Tribal Spear pattern around here a lot lately and it has really caught my eye.

Really resisting searching for one because I know it would be waaayyy more money than I would want to spend on a slip joint knife.

That, and I am very desperately trying to become a one-knife guy. I have a feeling that's not gonna happen.

Stick around, you're gonna have a lot of fun here and if you do stick around, you're gonna spend a lot of money-def. more than you wanted to.

It's all in good fun tho!:thumbup:
 
Congrats on some great looking knives! I love Case knives, especially their CV bladed knives. I've looked at some gun boats. And, I'm thinking that I might want to take the plunge and get one of those too. Most of my Cases are trappers, or stockmen of some form.
 
Welcome Red. You will find this a great place to hangout. Lots of terrific folks, and some very nice knives too...

One Case that seems to be a favorite around here is the Case Sway Back Jack.
It would make a nice companion to the TS.
