After lurking around here for awhile I finally got registered.

I am relatively new to Chris Reeve knives and purchased my first one, a Large Sebenza with one of Lisa's Unique Graphic Designs as a Christmas gift to myself. The addiction quickly hit and I currently own three additional Sebenzas, another Large and two Small, all of these with Lisa"s Unique Graphic Designs. The only regret I have is, "Why didn't I discover these sooner?" I have enjoyed collecting and using knives for 50 years but these Sebenzas are the best working knives I have ever owned.
Therefore, I thought I should register and have the option of joining in with all of you.

Thanks.

Welcome to BladeForums and especially to our little corner, the Reeve -aholics. :D

Welcome aboard! Seems you have some good taste with those "Lisa's Pics"....i really like to see the new design each month:)

Welcome and make your self comfortable cuz it's going to be an interesting ride, pictures please.

I feel if someone opens a thread it should be a must to post pictures, just not fair for us onlookers :p hehe. I'm curious to see what Lisa s picks you have :o welcome!

Thank you all for the kind words of Welcome. Very much appreciated!

Pictures. Yes, I would very much like to share these four Sebenzas with all of you. There is, however, a bit of a problem:
I pretty much live in the 19th Century and I tend to be rather happy there. For years I did a marvelous job of avoiding anything to do with a computer, and that was a big mistake. Actually I am rather proud of myself that I got registered here. All by myself. But pictures! Well, I don't have a camera, but I do have an appointment with a friend who will take some pictures of those Sebenzas for me on Saturday, and if I have the prints I can scan them into my computer. That much I can do, (and yeah, I know it ain't much! lol.) But getting those pictures out of my computer and into this thread. That is the problem. Is there anyone out there who has the patience and desire to try to teach an old dog something new.......? Send an instructional email to me if you care to. I think I have that info in my Profile. .......I think....

Thanks in advance for taking on a challenging case. lol.
I'd really like to share those Sebenzas with all of you!

Welcome Aboard to the CRK Forum. CRK is as good as it gets. The Best Knives you will ever own.

Well I will surely agree to that nyefmaker.
There was a time in my life when I got some experience with a milling machine, working in close tolerances to produce fine work.
That experience really makes me appreciate what Chris Reeve Knives are all about and I can see that quality in my Sebenzas.
They seem to be a tough-as-nails, precision instrument, and a thing of beauty besides. Quite a combination. :)

As far as posting pics, its fairly easy. Sign up for either Photobucket OR Flickr. Both are easy to use once you get the hang of em. Sign up for one of em and PM me, I will walk you through it. You can either take pics with a digital camera, OR take pics with your cell phone and email them to yourself. Wondows or Mac works. I always had windows, but now have a Macbook.

Oh man, nyefmaker, you don't know how much I appreciate that!!

I will open a Photobucket account and we'll go from there. But first of all I have to get the photos and that will hopefully happen Saturday. I will then load the photos into my computer, if I remember how to do that, get started with Photobucket, and then I'll PM you for a walk through. This will be a new experience for me! I have Windows here on my laptop so we can go with that. I don't have a telephone of any kind so I will be using a friend with a camera. I'm assuming she has a digital and not the black, square, black & white, box camera that most folks my age either have or remember! lol.

Thanks for the offer of assistance. I'll try to get things lined up by Monday, then I'll PM you. And feist, thanks for the vote of confidence! Needed that. :D
