New to traditional folders,what should I be doing ?

What is the best way to care for my traditional style folders, their not like my flippers where I can easily disassemble, oil and adjust to my liking.

I have a GEC mod 18 and a 47, the steel is very different then any thing I have so I want to be sure to care for them properly.
Is there any routine maintenance, oil the blade, oil the joints any thing special i should do to these style knives ?

Carbon steel will patina but you want to try and wipe it down after use or at the very least oil at the end of the day. Also depends on your area what the weather like
