New to traditionals need help

Hey guys,
I don't own any traditional folders but all of a sudden I want one.
I'm not familiar with the patterns but what I'm looking for is sub 3 inch blade and a cap lifter if there is such a pattern? I'd prefer bone or wood for scales and less than $100.00 any suggestions.

Yes, it does exist
Look for a GEC #85 pattern (2011 BF knife) or the recent GEC #15 Diamond Jack. Both are around 3,5" closed length, so they should work for you.

You're in luck. Search around for a Great Eastern Cutlery (GEC) Radio Knife, it's model number 15. They debuted last year and went fast, as you can imagine. But you can likely find someone out there who still has 'em in stock, or maybe find someone selling one on the exchange here at BladeForums.

I came late to this party. The Radio Knife is a winner for sure, and there is another run with a spear blade currently in production (both the Charlie Campagna special factory order Diamond Radio Knife, and a standard run coming soon after.)
