New Toollogic Knives

Always admired Toologic's credit card tools/knives. Never owned or used one, however.

I like the idea of a single tool to perform many necessary tasks. Like a unified theory of physics it may not happen in our lifetime. But, where there is a will, and there is a will, ..........

In my opinion the key to a successful multi-tool is having each tool at least as useful as would be a separate tool. The knife part should be as good as a good separate knife and the light part should be as good as a separate light.

Jam together a Spyderco and a Surefire and if together they are not as useful as they are apart then let it go.

Don't have the latest model. But I did think it over the pros and cons of the older line up, and went for the smallest folder. It's not meant to be an overly tough folder, but its sturdy enough for simple cutting task. I found the package interesting as a whole but yeah, they could have done better than 420J2 s.steel.

Hey! Those look like nice utility or emergency tool to have around. Nice to hear of the frame lock upgrade on them.

Have the sl1mini which is a 2inch blade with the led light. I think it's okay but I dont know what steel was on that one. The led didn't go too bright but was adequate in the dark. There was some bladeplay and my blade is badly chipped with a broken tip (cut through few hard cans)...dont know about the new ones though but they seem pretty good with exchangable attachments.
