Friends of mine from Texas are getting married, so I bought them Texas Toothpicks - a Queen #16 (Her) and a Queen #20 *(Him) for gifts. I got them in the mail today and I am EXTREMELY impressed with the fit, finish, and edge on these knives. I miiiight have to give up my BM 710 addiction soon and start picking these up.

Hats off to Queen Cutlery!

It's pretty rare around here to have somebody say they got a Queen knife that was impressively sharp out of the box. They are pretty notorious for coming butter knife dull. The D2 that they use is good stuff though.

I think we just might have another convert in the making.:D If you like the toothpick pattern, you should check out the Great Eastern Cutlery offerings as well. I don't have one myself, but they get great reviews and they also offer a Powderhorn version with a secondary pen blade.

This thread has a few Toothpicks in it if you haven't seen it before.

You sure made a good choice buy buying Queen cutlery they're excellent knives IMO, the D2 is impressive.

For some reason, I can't get into the shape. Unless it is a fishing knife.
