THANK YOU Liu Kang for a Sweet knife!!!

THANKS!!

The B11 is one of my favorite Busse knives! It's a biggun but carrys well and I love the Res C handle

i agree with bill, i got one for a friend and after holding it for five minutes decided to get one as well , very sweet piece of infi congrats.

The only thing I would like to see different about my B11 would be to try the slightly bigger handles on Dog Fathers, minus the side grooves.

Oh, and I want a BMuck with a nice tall blade (Think Koster monster Muck with a res c handle), and I think some one mentioned a B22.........that would be awesome!

I agree a bigger dogfather handle would make it perfect.

Despite being one of my cheapest Busse blades, it is easily my favorite of all my Busse & kin. The focus of my collection is primarily for backpacking knives so I am looking for the best in performance / weight ratio. It is that criteria that makes the B11 stand out for me.

The strange thing is that I did not want one at all when I first saw pictures of them. Then I thought I would take a chance and try one and sell it if I did not like it. I bought 4 more.

My B11 is the most versatile blade I have, and I can chop for hours without my arm getting tired. It is definitely a winner!

It is my backpacking knife. Love it. But I would agree DF handles are the best. All hail ResC handles

While the DF / SOD handles fill the hand better, I prefer the rounded handles of the B11 over the more square handles of the DF / SOD because the rounded handle distributes the pressure more evenly in the U area between the thumb and index finger. When chopping, the two square edges at the top of the DF / SOD handle caused pressure points for me.

One aspect of the DF / SOD handle that I do prefer is the absence of that raised area on the sides of the B11 handle. The top ridge of that raised area causes a hotspot for me, especially on the index finger side of the U area. It is more pronounced on some B11 specimens than others. The problem is solved with a bicycle inner tube over the handle and that also makes the handle fill the hand a little better.

I love mine, and Brigham loves his.

good, good, no vibrations
:D

The B9 has been my favorite chopper since I got it way back in July 2001. But since I got the B11, the B9 has been pushed into the non-user category.

Thanks for the earwig Brother Brown! :D

Can you believe it's only TWO WEEKS to Blade?!?!?!?!
