New Toy Ordered!

Ever just have the urge to try "something new", I was stuck inside today and online so I just had the desire to hunt down and try a knife I had never owned, I stumbled across a picture for a Buck Strider SBMF black blade and tan handles and just flipped! A few review searches turned up lots of praise so I took the plunge and ordered one.

Tell me I'm gonna be happy???????????\

You're gonna' be very happy. I've had mine for about 2 weeks and it's been great.

I've already given it rough use. Not going to baby this one. The 420HC has cut through thick plastic; opening lots of those formed containers holding electronic equipment. It's broken down large cardboard boxes (moving my daughter to college). Been dumped in the sand, cut through acidic lemons, and poked a hole in a soda can.

The blade is still almost as sharp as when it arrived. The black oxide coating is scuffed up, but not badly. Seems like a great workhorse of a folder so far.
