I just got this together. It's a 9" Rob Frink's beveled disc, 1 1/2 HP motor with speed and reversible control. He who dies with the most toys wins.:D

sweet. Do you plan to add a work table? One of the major uses I personally see for a disc sander is being able to set a table at a consistant angle for bolster/scale mating, etc.

Either way, looks good and should serve you well.

Congrats!

Watch yer feet while you get used to it, bro!

Nice for grinding blades. Miter table doesn't interfere.

dang George, The mess on your workbench looks just like it did 5 years ago when I was up there. :)

Looks great! That is going to be my next project. Do you really need 1 1/2 hp motor though? More power can't hurt I guess. I was going to use a 1 hp DC motor. Tell us how well it works.

I love building tools!

Cool setup, George. Looks strangley familiar.......................................:D

You obviously have too many toys IG. You should ship some my way just so that some others stand a chance in this competition of toys. It's no fun to win without any chance of losing is it?!

*ducks and hides before he can get hit*

A wonderfull addition to any shop. I use my 9" before I harden, to lay the bevels flat. Fast and shure. The one I built is set up with a table at 90 degrees to the face of the wheel to square materials.

I thought you told me you were cleaning up in the shop. Man, I would hate to see it when it was a little on the ratty side. Is that a three year old sandwitch behind the switch box? Get off your butt!!!

Fatzo!!! Thanks for the advise. I know you would not have the same problem. Because you haven't seen your feet or anything else when you look in a south bound direction.

Well, old man, let's just say despite how far my belly sticks out, I try not to get too excited grinding. nod nod ;) ;)

I was trying to tell yer the hold is different, and sometimes can grab, and the blade may get away. Matter of fact, sit with yer lap under it and grind away.... :D

You're welcome.

Pull a chair up and grind, though. Be more fun to call you Mrs. from now on. Or better yet, "Little Mister" :D
