New Toys!

My wife went shopping for some Victorinox' today, and I bought some Kershaws. Kershaws! Kershaws. Anyaway, I found an all-black Cyclone )model 1630BLK) and got it, although it was made in June of 2006 (meaning it's 440A and not Sandvik). I also bought another composite-bladed Leek (model 1660CB) and a blue anodized Leek (model 1660BB).

I initially bought the Leeks so I could swap the blades, giving me a plain-Jane Leek and a Leek with a composite blade & blue aluminum handles. The switch was very easy, and now I love how my composite Leek looks. I'll post photos when I can shoot them, but I wanted to post news of my newest FrankenLeek.

I once made what I called the "ultimate" leek. It was an S30V blade, G10 outer handle slab and titanium framelock slab. I "had" to sell it to finance another purchase, but have missed it since. If Thomas happens to check into this thread, I'll give him all the credit if he makes that a catalog item.
