I have a Wood Jewel "Large Carving Knife" coming. It is basically a very traditional Puukko with curley birch and reindeer handle. I bought this knife because a) it's way cool, b) it was a very nice price, c) they get good reviews, d) I like puukkos but prefer one with a bit of contour on the handle for safety, e) I want to be part of this forum more, and finally f) I need what I call a "state park knife" that, by virtue of it's simplicity and beauty, will not seem to be a weapon to the more "civilized" of my fellow park patrons.
