New Trailmaster?

Ok, there's a new Trailmaster that's out, and it's all black. But how come it costs less that the old Carbon V Trailmaster? Did they do something to modify it or what?
 
The new lower price probably reflects the point about not needing the added costs of polishing the blades
 
I kinda like my old Trailmaster with the Siegle finish. :) Black coatings on any knife leaves me with a blah feeling. :barf:
 
Wasn't the black coated Trailmaster only offered as a Cold Steel second? At least I think that's what my last catalog said.

1SKS has the all black ones for $180, but it doesn't say anything about it being a factory 2nd, and the sheath is black leather too. Their Laredo bowie costs as much as the old Trailmaster used to at 1SKS.
